Art for happy places!
Everything here is made by hand in my studio in northern New South Wales, one piece at a time, and never made twice.
I work in wood, metal and clay dug locally, and I paint when a thing is better flat than standing up. The pieces are small, and most of them are funny. If one of them makes you smile, it has done its job.
About my work
My practice takes in sculpture and painting, with occasional ventures into publishing and design. I work with wood, metal and locally sourced clay, making sculptures that are modest in scale but strong in character.
What I am after, every time, is simplicity of idea, form and material. Over the years the work has found its way into private collections in Australia and overseas, valued for its individuality, warmth and quiet humour.
