Abstract Hills

This is a more stylised version of our local hills. The landscape in coastal Northern New South Wales, Australia is characterised by its many undulating, perfectly rounded hills. Some are bare, some forested, some rocky. Often there are groups of trees or one isolated, singular tree marks the view. I like painting these hills and their variations through the seasons.
Original painting by Stefan Mager. Oil on canvas, 600mm x 450mm. Signed, stretched canvass, ready to hang.
